We are happy to offer £100 for your participation in the project. The first £50 will be paid
once the dataloggers have been returned in April 2009 and all the weekly meter readings
have been entered on the website.
The second £50 will be paid once the data loggers have been returned at the end of the second
monitoring period, in April 2010, and the final meter readings have been received.
Don’t worry if there are some problems along the way as you may still be eligible for the
payment; just keep us informed of your progress.
There are a number of additional rewards available for successful completion of the monitoring
process. These are available to all households taking part in the project. There are rewards
available for the timely installation of the loggers and an upload of corresponding photos.

After installing the 4 loggers a photo must be taken of each one in place. At the start of each

The monitoring periods start in the second week of January 2009 and the first week of October
2009.
For each monitoring period, the household which accurately completes all meter readings and
returns the four data loggers first will win a weekend for two in Paris, including meals at a number
of different restaurants. The second household to return the loggers will win a voucher worth
£400 for a night in London. 3rd to 10th placed households will receive £100 for a meal in a
restaurant.
Further rewards of £50 are available for the 11th placed household to the 30th placed households
